OSHA requires employers who provide fire extinguishers in the workplace that are available for employee use to also provide an "educational program" for affected workers that covers the principles of fire extinguisher use as well as the hazards of incipient-stage (early stage) fire-fighting. This educational program must be provided as part of new employee orientations, and the employer must also provide an annual refresher training on this topic. 

Classroom to educate on proper classifications of extinguishers and their use in the work environment and at home.

Proper use has been succsessful in prevention of total loss due to a small fire in home and office.

This class has hands on training with extinguishers and has LIVE FIRE!

The AHA’s ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of preventing cardiac arrest, early and continuous high-quality CPR, and high-performing teams. The course reflects science and education from the 2020 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

For healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies and for personnel in emergency response. 

This course also provides you with your BLS Provider certification at no additional fee!

Heartcode® ACLS is the online cognitive portion of the American Heart Association ACLS Provider certification course for both initial and renewals. After taking the online portion you will need to complete a mandatory skills check-off at our location which is included in the above price.

This self-paced course is accessible anytime and includes online course link, skills practice and testing, convenient scheduling, same day AHA completion certification card, and automated renewal notice. Students can access course material for 24 months.

You must complete the hands-on portion within 60 days of completing the online portion.

This is the Skills portion of the Heartcode ACLS online portion.

AHA BLS Instructor course gives you the ability to instruct new and renewal students in Basic Life Support (BLS), Heartsaver CPR/AED and First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Heartsaver CPR/AED and First aid for the teacher and students (Heartsaver k-12). 

Our course offers the most comprehensive education that you can find.  

Course Requirements:  Current provider card in discipline becoming instructor and 18yrs old or older.

What this course provides:

Opportunity to align with our Training Center, BLS 2020 Instructor Essentials online, BLS 2020 Instructor E-Book, Free Monitoring session, detailed instructions on the instructor network and how to navigate and issue E-Cards, If aligning with Landes Emergency Training Services you will have access to Enrollware to enter your rosters digitally and up-to-date digital roster storage, and Easy online ordering of E-cards and AHA supplies with Landes Emergency Training. You also will receive guidance with course related questions.

What this course does not provide:

DVD or Digital Course materials, AHA Compliant Manikins or equipment, and Course Provider Manual

The BLS Course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.

In the Instructor-led course, students participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations. Students work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. Students also complete a written exam.

You must complete the hands-on portion within 60 days of completing the online portion.

Once you have completed the online portion of the this you will be issued a certificate of completion.  You will need to schedule your skills session separate from this on the dates and times provided at LETSAVELIVES.COM

This is the AHA skills session that needs to be completed after the Heartcode BLS online portion has been completed.  You will need to bring certificate of completion of the Heartcode BLS to participate in this skills session.

Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED Online is the cognitive portion of the Heartsaver First Aid, CPR/AED certification course for both initial and renewals. After taking the online course you will need to complete a mandatory skills check-off at our location which is included in the above price.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support
After successfully completing the PALS Course, students should be able to:
Perform high quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) per AHA basic life support (BLS) recommendations
Differentiate between patients who do and do not require immediate intervention
Recognize cardiopulmonary arrest early and begin CPR within 10 seconds Differentiate between and perform early interventions for respiratory distress and failure

This is the hands-on skills session of the Heartcode PALS online.  Certificate of completion of the online portion required to complete the skills session.

AHA PALS PROVIDER CERTIFICATION ISSUED UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF SKILLS SESSION

CLASS IS HELD EVERY MONDAY AND THURSDAY - TWO OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM:

1) Morning Class - 9:00am to 1:00pm 

2) Evening Class - 5:30pm to 9:30pm

Start your rewarding journey in the Emergency Medicine Field.  Our course teaches you all the necessary information to become a Nationally Certified Emergency Medical Technician- Basic.  This career move can give you the ability to work on an ambulance, fire services, emergency departments and other rewarding positions in the healthcare setting.

Enrollment Requirements:

  1. Be at least 18 years old
  2. Have a valid high school diploma, GED, or valid equivalent
  3. Must complete the application process including advisor and finance meeting
  4. Valid Driver’s License or State Issued I.D. Card
  5. Social Security Card
  6. Criminal Background Check -Included in $450 Deposit (Non-Refundable)
  7. Proof of MMR Vaccination 
  8. Proof of Varicella Vaccination or Chicken Pox 
  9. 10 Panel Drug Screening - Included in the $450 Deposit (Non-Refundable)
  10. Completed physical form signed by a physician (dated within 1 year from chosen start date)
  11. TB Skin Test and results (dated within 1 year from chosen start date)

 These are requirements from the State of Florida and all Internship locations.

**REFUND POLICY** 

There are NO REFUNDS for E-product purchases such as (E-Books, Heartcode Courses, etc.).  All other course Refunds may be issued if you cancel your registration 48 hours prior to class. NO REFUNDS for cancelation less than 48 hours in advance, but able to reschedule without a fee for up to 6 months.

NO SHOW-  Any student that arrives 15 minutes late to scheduled class will be considered a NO SHOW , will need to reschedule their course, and a $25 rescheduling fee will be assessed.

Any Chargebacks/ bounced checks will be accessed a return fee of $25.
