The AHA’s ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of preventing cardiac arrest, early and continuous high-quality CPR, and high-performing teams. The course reflects science and education from the 2020 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

For healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies and for personnel in emergency response. 

This course also provides you with your BLS Provider certification at no additional fee!

The BLS Course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.

In the Instructor-led course, students participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations. Students work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. Students also complete a written exam.

The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

EMT-B refresher is an online program that covers many subject. The course has many subject areas to meet all of your CEU requirements for your NREMT certification and State certifications (excluding some state audit and review requirements). Upon  successful completion you will receive 51.5 hrs of CEUs.  Here is the breakdown for your CEU's:

CLASS IS HELD EVERY MONDAY AND THURSDAY - TWO OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM:

1) Morning Class - 9:00am to 1:00pm 

2) Evening Class - 5:30pm to 9:30pm

Start your rewarding journey in the Emergency Medicine Field.  Our course teaches you all the necessary information to become a Nationally Certified Emergency Medical Technician- Basic.  This career move can give you the ability to work on an ambulance, fire services, emergency departments and other rewarding positions in the healthcare setting.

Enrollment Requirements:

  1. Be at least 18 years old
  2. Have a valid high school diploma, GED, or valid equivalent
  3. Must complete the application process including advisor and finance meeting
  4. Valid Driver’s License or State Issued I.D. Card
  5. Social Security Card
  6. Criminal Background Check -Included in $450 Deposit (Non-Refundable)
  7. Proof of MMR Vaccination 
  8. Proof of Varicella Vaccination or Chicken Pox 
  9. 10 Panel Drug Screening - Included in the $450 Deposit (Non-Refundable)
  10. Completed physical form signed by a physician (dated within 1 year from chosen start date)
  11. TB Skin Test and results (dated within 1 year from chosen start date) 
  12.  These are requirements from the State of Florida and all Internship locations.
  13. All documents must be submitted and completed prior to Orientation

This is for those who have a current state EMT-Basic and are wanting to take the NREMT Skills evaluation to challenge the EMT-Basic NREMT exam.  You will need to supply Landes Emergency Training Services with the documentation sheet for the NREMT.  This skills evaluation will take around 3 hrs to complete and includes 7 skills assessment stations.  (Cardiac Arrest Management, Patient Assessment Medical, Patient Assessment Trauma, BVM Ventilation of Apneic Adult Patient,Oxygen Administration By Non-rebreather mask, Spinal Immobilization (Supine Patient), and 1 random skill.

Once completed the evaluator will sign off that you have completed your skills successfully and you will need to submit to NREMT along with your State EMT-Basic certification and your current CPR certification to be approved to sit for the NREMT written exam.

**REFUND POLICY** 

There are NO REFUNDS for E-product purchases such as (E-Books, Heartcode Courses, etc.).  All other course Refunds may be issued if you cancel your registration 48 hours prior to class. NO REFUNDS for cancelation less than 48 hours in advance, but able to reschedule without a fee for up to 6 months.

NO SHOW-  Any student that arrives 15 minutes late to scheduled class will be considered a NO SHOW , will need to reschedule their course, and a $25 rescheduling fee will be assessed.

Any Chargebacks/ bounced checks will be accessed a return fee of $25.
